10:55 pm	Sooo... I just got done watching Lost and I've realized two things: One, I am a creature of habit and Two, I love my girlfriend very much. She's such a wonderful person and sometimes I overlook that mostly because I've never been with somebody who loves me more than they love themselves. I mean, my family has never been close and I doubt we ever will be. We don't hug, don't call each other, and definitely don't tell each other we love them. But then Cassidy comes along and throws my world out of whack. But I am happy. I am very happy. I'm a creature of habit and I don't know how my life would be without Cassidy but I know that I am at ease knowing that she's here by my side. I love you Hot Ass Cass. (Comment on this)

10:13 pm	REM TICKETS STILL ON SALE! See previous posts... Anyways, the other day I was driving home after class, after eating with jon at the now NON TOXIC BUFFET KING off of I30, and I was listening to 102.1 because it was raining and I was in a good mood and they were doing the 3 o'clock threesome and I heard the first song, which was IRIS but I didn't hear the second song and when I turned the radio back on, it just finished playing that one Tonic song. Well, I figured I'd call anyways because the answer was obviously 'eyes' and I waited for 20 minutes and sure enough, I won tickets to go see REM. I was hoping I'd win cash or tickets to Maroon 5 or the Lord of the Rings on DVD or a new car or a college scholarship but beggars cant be choosers. And then today at work I was "sought" after by 2 managers, so I will probably be working in the hardware department selling very dangerous power drills and killer staple guns and illegal hammers. I will be going to Austin this weekend to attend my first "Frat" party which should be awesome because I hear the DKE house always has hot, horny women and the pledges give away money for no reason because they aren't snobs like the other frats and they share stock tips. So to summarize, I hear once you go Deke, you'll never reseek (another frat party). anyways, I am runnin' on adrenalin. oh, and i guess i miss my wonderful girlfriend terribly too since she misses me in her livejournal as well. 10:10 pm	So I am going to my math class and I realize that the teacher is S. Johnson and then I freak out because I think its Mrs Johnson from Garland. Well I start walking to the class and I see an old lady carrying books with a little gray afro and someone calls her susan, so I start to sweat because Mrs Johnson never liked me. Well turns out she was just a random woman and I actually have this really cool black teacher named Sharon Johnson. 9:20 pm	for those who don't know already, I won't be going back to A&M. Its for the best. Work is good, I've been a cashier for the past month but the store manager really liked my work ethic and my attitude and is trying hard to move me into another department BUT the cashier manager won't approve of it because she said I am probably her best worker so far. Which is funny because I just walk in a circle for 8 hours. Oh well, wahtever gets me more hours because I need the money to put White Lightning to rest. SOOO, anyone who is still alive, well, and cool in Dallas I will be here. For the most part I'll be hanging out with Jon and Derek since they are going to be my roommates in May, if I can convince my parents that I can't stand living with them. We'll see how much money I save up first and how my grades go. For those who don't know already, cass and I are going to keep the relationship going. She isn't that far away and plus she's a good girlfriend. You can't give up on a girl like her. Jaimie approved my decision. And we all know Jaimie knows best. Anyways, I have to be at work at 6am tomorrow cuz I am a puppet to the Great American Dollar. Which reminds me, I've had one number stuck in my head all day "four hundred thousand" I don't know why but that number keeps on popping up in my head. I think that's all the phone numbers I got in college, since Cass says I have too many girl phone numbers in my phone. Oh well. I actually miss that old ball and chain. Anyways, thats my long awaited post. And all that talk about me trying to get a volunteer coaching job at GHS, throw that out the window, I am going to take this life one day at a time for now. Except when it comes to going back to College Station. Which reminds me guys, I am NOT going to the Austin Music Festival, but I will be in CS Sept 18-21. 1:52 am	Work was fun today for the most part. I helped load this Iranian guy's van and he gave me a history lesson on war and how Americans sucked. And hot Jennifer was taking her time with his receipt so he whispered to me, "dumb american girl...too bad shes cute" That was funny. There was a store meeting tonight and we got fed catered BBQ and chocolate cake. A lot better than Oakridge or Blockbuster. Plus we played this "team-building" game where we had to make this ping pong ball float in a tube with holes in it. It wasn't working so we got duct tape and taped all the holes shut. Our team won a paid day off. Which means 60 bucks. So today I got paid to stand around, eat food, and get more money. I like my job. Another cool perk, we get free Ranger tickets for Monday games. And if I win Employee of the month, I get a chance to win 2 free plane tickets and 500 bucks cash. My store made 17 million dollars this year, and I am getting a bonus check (possibly 100 bucks) and I've only worked for a week. my gf is leaving for the river tomorrow, so i have the weekend all to myself and all my hot lady friends. sex party tomorrow night ladies. my gf is hot. 9:33 pm	Home Depot Ok, my job is the best/worst job in the world. i work at HOME DEPOT SUPPLY, which is a contractors-only store for Home Depot. For an 8 hour shift, I dealt with 20 customers, 4 of them came in twice. It is the most sporadic job as well. I went three hours without seeing a customer and Jennifer (the hot 25 yr old cashier) told me that it gets even worse throughout the day. I get a lot of downtime but I am fine with that, more time for me to study. Such a good job. In other news I have the best gf. No reason, she just is. I couldnt update my lj and talk about work and not mention her. Too bad she leaves in a couple of weeks but oh well. It happens. (1 Comment |Comment on this)

11:58 pm	I finally got employed today. As I was waiting to get my drug test done, I watched Bold & the Beautiful and I remembered how in the opening credits they show a woman revealing plenty of cleavage. When I was in about third grade me and my friend Justin Taylor would watch and just be amazed by it and we made an effort everyday to stop playing outside and watch just the opening credits. I am addicted to Tiger Woods 2003. Its sad. I get my modified XBOX in about two days, 25 games on one hard drive. I think I will be teaching Manda to play some tennis this week. I need a summer project. Last year it was Jaz and Janosko, and look how they turned out... as solid athletes. In fact, Janosko has a scholarship to SMU because of my coaching abilities. In unrelated news, I got my cell phone back. I won't go into the details. I also got it reactivated for free because I am a smooth operator. That's really it. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

8:12 pm	da party so the party came and gone. it was fun up until those high school folk started to drink the ladies punch that Hutch made and then they started stockpiling the beer when we bought some more only to hide it in a corner of the house. and what was up with that Patrick guy trying to rape Jaimie? WOW. The A&M guys said they had a blast, including Kevin who was in a fight. They were also freaked out by the "makeout with other boys" party crew but hey, whatever floats your boat, I dont care that they putt from the rough. It was a weird mix of crowd but overall the party stayed pretty civil. The best part could've been Steff's Pyschadelic Jesus Lamp, Greg getting "thrown" into the crap pond, or Hutch stating that the gas station tacos changed his life forever. The A&M guys got to experience the beauty of gas station tacos, the glory of A Taste of Italys garlic rolls. And did anyone know the Pepe & Mitos on Northwest Highway closed?! Yea, but I was 2 for 2 in choosing places to eat. Thanks to all the people who chipped in for more drinks, especially the A&M folk for throwing in about 50 bucks. Thanks to Hutch for bringing all the beverages. It was nice seeing all the other g-town folk and their respective friends. And Stephanie, sorry for tricking you when the cops came but it sure was funny. and a special thanks to my gorgeous gf for being the best hostess in the whole world. (Comment on this)

1:27 am	Personally I think Donnell from Road Rules shouldve gotten kicked off. At least he got his ass beat. I also feel there is a good amount of cultural hypersensitivity in society today. When stereotypes are pointed out against one race, it is wrong to retaliate with a just as equally offensive insult. Lets take the Road Rules episode as example: Donnell repeatedly badgered and taunted Abram with his "Montana, redneck white boy" insults. So, Abram responds with "cornbread is for lunch" in which he soon thereafter apologizes for "going there." Why can Donnell stereotype but Abram can't? Cultural Hypersensitivity. I think that using the race card as an issue has been stressed to its limits. It is not about ignorance rather acceptance. Stereotypes, albeit very tongue in cheek humor, happens to distinguish each culture to its own. These stereotypes aren't formed out of thin air but have signicant stories behind them that actually are apart of the culture itself. I could explain but I dont want to offend anyone. 9:28 am	I just had a really bad dream that foretold the future. The dream was about the day everyone left for college and I was the one to say goodbye becauase I wasn't going anywhere. Everyday it sinks further and further in and I get more depressed. I have gotten sick of reading my emails, letters or anything because I know I will be disappointed. And that sucks for me. I am so used to succeeding, even on a half-assed basis, that now I don't know what to do. My goals for this next year: work my ass make a lot of money, go to lots of school and make perfect grades, and try to coach the JV soccer team at Garland. 12:35 am	I guess I will really update instead of doing another survery. Lets see, my last REAL post was in MAY after Rivertrip so I will probably start from there. I have spent the last month or two bumming it to the max. I applied lots of places but I didn't really pursue any of those jobs. I could have gotten the telemarketing job at MBNA but I couldn't see myself sitting at a desk trying to get students into debt by selling them a credit card. Since I am poor, I decided to get a sugar momma for the summer. We went to College Station for a weekend so I could talk to my advisors about next year. It was nice seeing all the A&M folk again. Put a bunch of us A&M guys around a table and there will be some crazy conversations, for example, if you snore its because you have a fat tongue. As far as my situation goes next year with school, that is all still up in the air. I will have a definite answer by Mid-July. But if I don't get back I might get an apartment with Jon Rust, which will mean one crazy apartment. I mean MTV CRIBS will be there crazy. We're going to have a stripper pole in every room because we'll have so many strippers in our apartment, in fact, the strippers will be sliding down the fire escape because there will be so many strippers inside. We're going to have to create our own RAP company to justify all the bootylicious ass we'll be having over, I am talking NO LIMIT RECORDS/MASTER P kinda ass. In reality we'll probably be sitting on lawn chairs eating hot pockets, c'est la vie. BUT, Jon can finally teach me how to play the guitar/bass and we can form the hottest duet since Siegfried & Roy. 9:30 pm	today just has not been a good day, at all. I woke up at 530 and go pick up my brother who's not even at his apartment, so I call him and he doesnt answer his phone. So I wait 25 minutes and his explanation was, "well, at least you're here on time." Then Dallas drivers and traffic just boggles my mind. You would think by letting 3 or 4 people in front of you, that another person would let you in? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, even if you had on your blinker for about 2 minutes. A wave of thanks is met with a wave of the finger. From that point on today my driving has been horrible, all because of one inconsiderate person. And when my driving sucks, my day sucks. But thanks to Cassidy and Lauren (a girl whom ive never met personally) for taking time out of their lives just to cheer me up. thats all i have to say. tomorrow i will be better. i was just sleepy and grouchy today.
